Thursday Roll Call

Good morning one and all. We have been having some newcomers joins us and that is fantastic. I know that reading everyone's comments for what is going on with them for the day lifts my day. So all you newbies welcome, glad you are joining us. Not much going on here but tired  because I am an early to bed sort of person and our guest (they usually do stay out later to experience the Chgo area) had me up until about 1130 last night. Going to stay at work and use the exercise room today for a little bit of a different "shake 'em up time". We have a decent room for a small PD, all of the equipment was donated by the historical society in town. It was used equipment but still in good shape. The only problem with the room is that it is in our basement. Can you say boring? No windows, only a tv, DVD or stereo.  Oh, well it is free. Gotta get moving.  What is cookn' with you all today? Good morning Christine! Sounds like you are having a great time but need your R&R too. Hope you got some sleep . I sure did! I slept like a baby and dreamt the night away. Today is a work day for me. Then a short time at the pool. I think I'm going to wear my crocheted Turquoise bikini today. Another new one that I purchased a few months ago. Cute and sexy too . Then shower and change and off to my new dinner date at Jamieson's Charhouse in Arlington Heights. This time I am starting with dinner instead of coffee. YAY!! I will share with all tomorrow. I am trying to clean out part of my closet this morning.I can't find anything so its a job that needs doing. I am going back to work on Monday, could that be what modivated me?
I am planning on getting some sun today, I still can't get into my pool.. I think I could get in, but wouldn't be able to climb out. I will be taking a walk this afternoon when the DH gets home.

Hi Chirstine, Lucy and everyone, I am back in Colorado after a long flight yesterday. We got delayed in Atlanta on our flight back from Florida. We flew Delta and got delayed an hour or over and didnt get back to Denver till after 11pm. We wre supposed to get here at 0930pm. Today I am sending in the paperwork to get the Florida Cosmetology Liscense so I can go to work when I get back there in July. I have a job but no Liscense. What is a girl to do!!!!!!! I like our new house, It is small and easy to clean but I still have to much junk to get rid of. So I am going to spend the rest of the month cleaning and pitching!!!!!! I dont have my car here in Denver only our truck to get around. I hate driving our truck but oh Well. I fly to Chicago for my neices shower in Augest for about a week. Hope all is well. Carla 

Hi guys.  Slept in this morning.  That felt good.  Have to pay some bills today.  Thought I might go get a hair cut.  Maybe something short.  Today will be my first day behind the wheel since surgery.  Haven't needed to take my pain meds since 6am Tuesday. Have to drive into Aurora tonight to meet up with the girl I buy my Avon from to pick up my order.  Got some cologne for my Dad for Father's Day. Probably round out the day by taking my daughter up to the pool for a couple of hours. Shelley

Hey Gang! I'm finally checking in.  My computer was acting up all day today at work.  Maybe someone at work sabotaged my computer so I could get some work done  Ok, so I did not think it was funny considering I was having OH withdrawals all day.  Anyhow..  I got thru the day and I'm now considering dusting off my bicycle seat and taking a spin around the neighborhood.  It's a beautiful night and I think I need to have some me time.   I did get some good news when I got home.  There was a voicemail message from a company I sent a resume to a few weeks back.  They want to schedule and interview!!  Guys, I want this job soooo bad I can taste it.  It's actually with the company I used to work for before they sold our division last May.  When the acquisition took place, we were on a 1yr freeze and that was lifted last month so I have been very actively trying to get my foot back in the door.   Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.  I really suck at interviewing so I need some help in this department.  Also, I'm just not sure how much longer I can tolerate working for the jackass I currently work for.  If I could walk away today I would but...  I have bills to pay and responsibilities that keep me from walking.  I just have to move on; I'm just not in a healthy place right now at work. Lucy -  I do have a question for you............  So do you get just coffee w/ the eharmoney.com guys and steak dinners with the sugardaddies.com???  That would be a no brainer for me.  LOL  I hope you have fun tonight.  Just be yourself.
